Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is ready to ditch the Jersey Shore for Hollywood, according to a report from E! Online.
Sorrentino said that he thought acting would be a good fit for him because he loves being in front of a camera and performing.
While partying in Dallas before the Super Bowl, The Situation said that he hopes to be in a movie “by the end of the year.” Sorrentino also said that “there’s only so long you can rule the reality world.”
The Situation then compared his dominance of reality tv to Michael Jordan’s dominance of the NBA during the 1990′s. “It’s like Michael Jordan. There’s only so long you can keep winning them rings,” he said.
Lucky for Jersey Shore fans, Sorrentino still has at least one season left in him. The popular MTV show is taking its act on the road to Italy for season 4. The Situation said he would like to prepare for living abroad by using Rosetta Stone to start learning Italian, or as he put it “I’m gonna get me some Rosetta Stone.”
The Situation compared himself to Michael Jordan recently.
