Everyone remembers Volkswagen’s running ad campaign with the Beetle acting as an overbearing talk show host and interviewing the likes of Heidi Klum and David Hasselhoff.
It sure seemed like VW’s marketing department had, uh, stalled since then.
No longer, as Volkswagen roared back in a big way with its new ad for the 2012 Passat, which premiered before Super Bowl XLV. The spot features a mini Dark Vader using the force on various household items — including the family dog — before seeing the new Passat parked in the driveway.
With a little help from his dad, lil Vader discovers that the force is strong in the newest creation from VW.
That commercial was sooo cuuute! You know they little boy took off the mask on the Today Show I think it was. He’s such a cute kid.
